At Man Time Grooming we have selected the German Engineered Asclepion Laser. Men's skin is 20% thicker than women's, so we needed a machine that could go deeper and we found it. Our Laser Hair Removal goes to the base of the bulb and cuts the blood supply to the hair providing greater results.
Like all Lasers, it is only effective on hair that is actively growing, which is around 20% of your hair at any time. So you will need at least 6 sessions about 6 weeks apart for it to be effective. You may also need to come back possibly once or twice a year for any dormant hairs that may have decided to start growing.
The benefits are that from your first session you will notice a reduction in hair. Sometimes there is a little discomfort, but no pain, unlike waxing. You can say goodbye to the prickly regrowth from clippers and shaving your body hair each week.

How To Prepare For Laser Hair Removal
You will need to shave the area to be lasered up to 2 days before, the shorter the hair the better the result. If you are unable to do that book yourself in for a Shave Prep as part of your booking.
Please note that Laser Hair is not suitable for everyone. We can't help you if your hair is blond or grey as the laser targets the pigment in the hair. We also can't laser over the top of any tattoos. Once again, as the laser targets pigment, the colour in your tattoo will be targeted which may result in scarring.
Avoid sun exposure 3-4 weeks prior to treatment and up to 2 weeks after treatment. If you are outside use SPF 30+ or higher sunscreen. Spray tan needs to have worn off before treatment, and can be re-applied a day after treatment.
